April 2026 CCNA Utilities Projects Update

North Tamiami Trail AC Water Main Replacement:

Phase-1, 2, and 3 (14th St to Dr. MLK Jr Way): final restoration to be completed with new meter boxes, landscaping, and concrete work.
Phase-4 (Dr. MLK Jr Way to Myrtle St): Certification process ongoing with FDOH. Once certified, all water service transfer connections to occur with proper public notices and procedures.
Intersection work and closure at Cocoanut Ave & 16th St to be scheduled.
Phase-7 (47th St from N. Trail to North Water Tower Park): Utility trenches have been restored and all major water main pipes have been installed and pressure tested.

North Lodge Dr Watermain Replacement and Lift Station No. 90 Construction

New 6” Ductile Iron Pipe Water Main has been successfully installed and FDOH certification is ongoing. Once approved, all water service transfer connection to occur with proper public notices and procedures.
