Comp Plan Open House

The public is invited to an open house on proposed updates to the Sarasota City Plan Recreation and Open Space Chapter at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5 in the SRQ Media Studio at the City Hall Annex, 1565 1st St.

Periodic chapter revisions help ensure that evolving public priorities and planning goals are represented in the City’s Comprehensive Plan. The goal of the Chapter is to provide and maintain a high quality and environmentally sensitive system of open spaces and recreation facilities which meet the needs of the community through 2055.

At the open house, City staff will highlight the updates, answer questions and hear community feedback to help inform the ongoing chapter update process.
