New Pass Dredging Project Wrapping Up – Beach Ribbon Cutting May 26th – 1:00pm Lido Beach Pavillion
The Dredging contractor started equipment mobilization January 8th, 2026.
- Dredging started January 19th, and moved along the beach from the north to the south.
- Anticipated project completion by early May 2026.
- Beach Ribbon Cutting Ceremony scheduled for Tuesday May 26th at 1:00 pm at the Beach Pavillion. The agenda is currently planned as:
- Opening remarks by Nik Patel, Director Public Works
- Mayor Debbie Trice
- Major Corey Bell, Deputy Commander for South Florida, USACE Jacksonville District
- Carl Shoffstall, LKRA President
