Budget Town Hall to be held May 7
The fiscal year for the City Sarasota extends from Oct. 1 to Sept. 30. Learn about the City of Sarasota’s annual budget process during a Budget Town Hall 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 7 in the SRQ Media Studio located in the City Hall Annex, 1565 First Street.
The Town Hall will include a 30-minute presentation about the annual budget with an overview of the general fund, special funds as well as spending restrictions. The presentation will be given by Financial Administration Director Kelly Strickland followed by an open question and answer period.
