At CCNA’s December 7, 2024, Membership Meeting, incoming President Kelly Brown had the honor announcing CCNA’s recognition of two founding members for their “long history of giving back to the city”. Mollie Cardamone and Linda Holland were each presented with the CCNA Neighborhood Award for “Lifetime Achievement”.

“Mollie has continually looked for ways to improve, protect and enhance the neighborhoods, serving as CCNA’s 1st Chair while simultaneously serving the city residents as a small business owner, a city commissioner, mayor and member of numerous advisory boards.”

“Linda has a long history of giving back to not only her immediate neighborhood but the larger city as a whole, serving on the CCNA board in every position and getting her hands dirty with clean up and improvement while simultaneously serving over 30 years on various advisory boards.  Linda is regular attendee at city commission, PREP board, and code compliance meetings to ensure the voice of the residents is heard.”

“We have been fortunate to have their long history of leadership and volunteer time supporting CCNA member neighborhoods and the city as a whole.  Their foresight and contribution to excellence is what made the Coalition of City Neighborhood Associations a voice for the residents of the city as CCNA began over 30 years ago.”

CCNA President Richard Harris added: “Recognizing the lifetime achievements of two of our founders was long overdue and I am glad we were able to accomplish that this year.”
